President’s Message

Audra Ward

It brings me great pleasure to welcome you to the website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Tau Epsilon Omega chapter. This site features information about our service projects and events focused on making positive impacts on East Point and College Park, Georgia.

Internationally, Alpha Kappa Alpha women have been driven by our  2014-2018 program initiatives implemented by our International President, Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson, themed “Launching New Dimensions of Service.” The program initiatives promise to meet the heightened demand for our youth to be exposed to innovative leadership skills, enhanced academic preparation and civic engagement to achieve personal success; highlight health issues that have disparate impacts on the black community, and encourage increased awareness regarding global and environmental issues that affect us all.

Since our chartering in 1991, TEO has embraced the mantra of being a chapter that is “large enough to serve, but small enough to care”, our 300+ members are excited to join the over 1000 chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® as we expand these initiatives through  International Community Impact Days and local programming.

Please explore our events calendar to learn more about the impactful community service programs provided by Tau Epsilon Omega Chapter. Follow us online by liking our Chapter Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.

Tau Epsilon Omega welcomes members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® looking to reactivate, or transition from undergraduate to graduate level, to visit one of our monthly meetings or join us at a service project. The ladies of Tau Epsilon Omega Chapter are here to help you become reacquainted with our amazing sisterhood!
