Pink Goes Red for Heart Health Impact Day is open to members of Alpha Kappa Alpha and the public. This event will feature a "fireside chat" with an internist, a cardiologist, a nutritionist, and an exercise physiologist. The audience will be invited to ask questions and participate in demonstrations. There will be medical professionals on hand to measure blood pressure and BMI, as well as cooking and exercise demonstrations. National Caregivers Day is observed annually to provide support to those who care for loved ones by providing quality, compassionate care on a daily basis. During AKA Caregivers' Day Observance, November 16th, members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated's Kappa Omega and Tau Epsilon Omega Chapters will recognize caregivers and provide much-needed support and respite for them to honor the important work they do for others.
